As Landon Would Say...Happy Turkey Day!

First of all, Happy Thanksgiving from the Weisenfels!

Wow, this Thanksgiving was a whirlwind! We are absolutely exhausted, but we have so much to be thankful for!

First, we cooked, cooked, and cooked some more! Landon helped me make these adorable turkey cookies.

Of course, he "had" to eat all of the broken candy corns because they weren't any good as turkey feathers! ;-)

Luckily, cooking always leads to eating and we got to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Time with family was the best part, though.

Of course, Landon was being a little "turkey" and didn't want his picture taken at all.

I was so thankful to be able to spend Thanksgiving with my mom this year.
The boys love spending time with their Nana!

Well Thanksgiving is over, but I praise God every day for all he has blessed me with!
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

First Post!!!

I decided to start blogging purely for the memories. Life just seems like it is slipping through my fingers so fast. I want to be 90 and be able to look back, smile,  and say "remember when..." My title was based on the song "Remember When" by Alan Jackson. It makes me cry every time I hear it, but it expresses emotions that I cannot even put into words.

I may have to do some quick recapping because so many blessings have walked into my life before I started blogging. In the interest of time, I will stick to the biggies! (Some of the pictures are still on our old computer and I need to get them transferred over, so I am missing a few that are older.)

Remember when....
